I absolutely love doing commissions. It brings me joy to work with clients to bring an original work to life for them. I custom order gallery wrapped stretched raw canvases for all of my work. These canvases are as high quality as they come. They're really beautiful. Most of my work is mixed media - I use a combination of oil paint, dry pastels and charcoal in most of my work.

After I receive a commission inquiry, I typically schedule a consultation call to discuss what the client is envisioning and where they see the piece living in their home. It’s really helpful for me to learn more about what you like about my work and what you’re looking for in an original piece for yourself. This is an opportunity for you and I to collaborate together and come up with a plan for the perfect work for you. I believe that all of this information will greatly inform the work.

My lead time once the commission order has been placed is about 6 months right now. I ask for 50% payment within 30 days of receiving an initial invoice from me in order to plan accordingly, purchase materials, etc. Payment in full is due after the work is complete. Shipping and handling is included in all of my commission work, so those expenses are built into my commission pricing.
